Mentor and Life Coach - mckinney-wordsPI

The story and life of Pastor Dr. Laytecia McKinney is astounding and illustrates how hard work and determination in our society can overcome obstacles. Although she hails from an ancestry which was not replete with royal pedigree or vast wealth, her diligence and obedience has opened supernatural doors far beyond what our natural eyes could ever envision. Pastor McKinney is a loving mother and grandmother and enjoys family time.

Imbued with a sense of social and spiritual responsibility, she has long been an advocate to bring healing, restoration, truth and deliverance to the wounded, broken and lost. Not one to merely rest on the laurels of her predecessors, she earned several degrees graduating with honors during her matriculation. Her exemplary standards and genuine love for God's people resonates the very meaning of the adage that, "the will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not celebrate and keep you."

She is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Victory Temple Outreach Ministries, Inc. founded in 2006 and a Litigated Paralegal by profession.  Dr. McKinney is an author of "Living Single God's Way", a Single Woman’s Guide to Wholeness. She is an honor graduate of Hillsborough Community College and Tampa Bay Legal Academy. Always diligent in her commitment to God and education she continued her matriculation at Tampa Bible College where she earned her Masters of Divinity, Masters of Christian Counseling and Doctorate in Christian Education.

She was recognized by the City of Tampa in 1996, as a "Woman of Zion" and again in February 2007, as the recipient of the "2007 City of Tampa’s Employee Black History Award." She has been appointed to preach the gospel and evangelize since the year of 1990. Through her philanthropic services, WOW Ministries, Inc. (Women of Wisdom) was birthed in 1994 and I Am WOW Mentorship Institute in 2019. She was also nominated by On Que Magazine as the 2013 "Female Pastor of the Year" for the City of Tampa.
